Naked Retro Gamers

A bit of a change from our regular format - no Helen! She was in Fuerteventura as of the making of this video, but our daughter was visiting too, so as she is a gamer herself she happily stood in. We played a new retrogame acquisition - Virtua Fighter 2. This was the first time I'd even put it in the console, so it needed reinserting a good few times to get it to work...

Released in 1996, it came out quite late in the Genesis/Mega Drive's life and is a 2D backport of the 3D original that was made for the newer systems available at that time. So although its fun in the usual fighter game way, it does lack any wow-factor. We'll have to give it another go once Helen is back from topping up her all-over tan and see what she thinks of it.
